πŸ¦‡ CEO by day. Batman by night. 28 pounds down.

Erick went from 218.7 lbs to 190.6 lbs, while his DEXA showed 19.5 lbs of fat lost and 3.5 lbs of lean mass gained during the measured phase. πŸ’ͺ🏽πŸ”₯

The result came from the full system: structured training, calculated nutrition, cardio, step count, daily weigh-ins, and consistent coaching adjustments.

And yes… the physique finally matched the suit. πŸ¦‡

Proud of you, Erick. πŸ‘πŸ½

Fat loss isn’t one lever. It’s a whole system working together. 🧠πŸ”₯

Yes, energy balance is the foundation: over time, your body must expend more energy than it consumes to lose fat. But if it were really as simple as β€œeat less and move more,” far fewer people would struggle with it.

Here’s what’s actually happening:

βš–οΈ Your calorie deficit determines whether weight loss can occur
πŸ₯© Protein helps determine how much lean muscle you preserve
πŸ‹πŸ½ Resistance training gives your body a reason to keep that muscle
🚢🏽 Your steps and daily movement can meaningfully change your total energy expenditure
😴 Poor sleep can increase hunger, reduce training quality, and make adherence harder
πŸ“‰ Metabolic adaptation means your body may burn less and move less as dieting continues

So when progress stalls, it doesn’t automatically mean your metabolism is β€œbroken”—and it doesn’t mean you suddenly lost discipline. Your physiology is responding to the environment you created.

That’s why the solution usually isn’t to immediately slash calories or add endless cardio. It’s to look at the entire system, identify the limiting factor, and make the smallest adjustment that moves progress forward. 🎯

Get the foundation right before trying to optimize everything else. The order matters.

This is why we tell clients not to let the scale run the whole conversation πŸ“‰

Over 10 weeks, Camila’s body weight barely changed. The scale was up about 1 lb.

Her DEXA told a very different story πŸ“Š

Body fat: 37.5% β†’ 31.9%
Fat mass: down 4.5 lb
Lean tissue: up 5.6 lb πŸ’ͺ🏽

That’s body recomposition.

Calories were being tracked 🍽️
Protein was managed πŸ₯©
Steps stayed high πŸšΆπŸ½β€β™€οΈ
Training stayed consistent πŸ‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

And even with all of that, there were still moments where she felt like nothing was happening.

That’s exactly why scale weight alone can be misleading. It cannot separate fat, lean tissue, glycogen, water, and normal fluctuation.

The best part was watching her go from questioning the process to celebrating the results in the group chat πŸ˜‚πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ’―

The scale barely moved. Her body composition absolutely did ✨

πŸ‘€ Look at Frank’s waist. Now look at his shoulders and arms.

🎯 That contrast was the entire goal.

Frank started at 174.4 pounds and 25.0% body fat. By his next DEXA scan, he was at 20.2%.

But the body fat percentage only tells part of the story.

πŸ”» 9.6 pounds of total fat lost
πŸ”Ί 3.2 pounds of total lean tissue added
πŸ’ͺ🏽 1.1 pounds of lean tissue added through his arms
πŸ“ˆ 1.8 pounds of lean tissue added through his legs
πŸ”» 5.8 pounds of fat lost through his trunk

That is how the V taper started to take shape.

More size where Frank needed presence. Less fat around the waist. More contrast between his upper body and midsection. ⚑️

The result is not just a lighter version of the same physique.

It is a completely different shape. πŸ“Š

This is only a quick before and after. Frank’s complete journey is still coming. πŸš€

21.3% ➑️ 8.1% BODY FAT.

But Theo’s transformation was never just about getting leaner.

Over 13 months, this semi professional volleyball player became:

πŸ”₯ 34 pounds lighter
πŸ’ͺ🏽 31 pounds lower in fat mass
πŸš€ 17.6% more forceful
🏐 11 cm higher on his approach jump

The objective was clear: build a physique that could perform, not simply look athletic.

Every phase was driven by real data:

🧬 DEXA scans to measure body composition
⚑ Force plate testing to evaluate power
πŸ‹πŸ½ Sport specific strength programming
πŸ₯— Competition based nutrition
πŸ“ˆ Continuous adjustments based on measurable results

The outcome? A leaner, stronger, more explosive athlete without sacrificing the muscle and power required to compete.

This is what happens when body recomposition and athletic performance are treated as one complete system.

6.6 POUNDS OF LEAN TISSUE ADDED DIRECTLY TO HIS LEGS.

During our first call, Anand told me he had always been teased about his skinny legs and had never successfully added meaningful lower body mass.

I told him we were going to change that.

We used barbell squats into full range dumbbell goblet squats, reverse lunges, high repetition walking lunges across the entire length of his garage, and single leg RDLs.

Sixteen months later, Anand had added more than 13 pounds of lean tissue across his entire frame, including 6.6 pounds directly to his legs.

🧬 21.8% TO 10.6% BODY FAT
πŸ’ͺ🏾 13 POUNDS OF LEAN TISSUE BUILT
🦡🏾 6.6 POUNDS ADDED SPECIFICALLY TO HIS LEGS
πŸ“Š 4 BODY COMPOSITION SCANS
⏱️ 16 MONTHS OF EX*****ON

Anand Mehra is the Founding Partner of Forge Life Sciences, a biotech focused venture capital firm that finances and builds the companies behind new drugs.

After nearly 20 years of evaluating companies and determining whether the data supports the claim, Anand brought that same standard to his own transformation.

No guessing.
No shortcuts.
No generic plan.

Just a complete system built around training, nutrition, cardio, recovery, and objective data.

πŸ”» PHASE ONE: THE CUT

Anand reduced his body fat from 21.8% to 10.6% while simultaneously adding 6.2 pounds of lean tissue.

πŸ”Ί PHASE TWO: THE BUILD

Once he was lean, we deliberately increased his intake and shifted the objective toward maximizing muscle.

The result was another 6.8 pounds of lean tissue added.

THE COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION:

βš–οΈ 13 pounds of lean tissue added
🦡🏾 6.6 pounds added specifically to his legs
πŸ₯© 150 grams of protein maintained daily
πŸ‹πŸΎ Progressive hypertrophy programming
πŸ₯— Nutrition managed directly with our registered dietitian
πŸ“ˆ Four scans documenting the entire process

This was not one workout.

It was not one meal plan.

It was 16 months of intelligent programming, continuous adjustments, and consistent ex*****on.

Real programming.
Real data.
Real measured results. πŸ”¬πŸ”₯

You don’t need a β€œgirl workout.”

You need intelligent programming built around the physique you actually want. πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ🏾✨

At SVNP, female aesthetics means developing the entire silhouette:

πŸ‘ Glutes built through multiple hip angles
🦡🏽 Quads + hamstrings trained through full ranges of motion
πŸ’ͺ🏽Capped shoulders + defined arms
πŸ”₯ A wider, more developed back to enhance the waist-to-shoulder contrast
❀️‍πŸ”₯ Conditioning that supports fat loss without sacrificing muscle
πŸ₯— Nutrition structured around your actual body composition and goals

And no β€” properly training your upper body is not going to suddenly make you β€œbulky.” πŸ™…πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

The look most women describe as lean, athletic, toned, feminine and sculpted still requires muscle.

The difference is in how the program is designed. πŸ§ πŸ“ˆ

βœ… Progressive overload
βœ… 2–3x weekly muscle exposure
βœ… Compound + isolation movements
βœ… Glute-focused lower-body development
βœ… Strategic upper-body volume
βœ… Full range of motion
βœ… Planned conditioning
βœ… Individualized calories + macros

This is physique development with a purpose.

Not random workouts.
Not endless cardio.
Not avoiding heavy weights because somebody told you they would make you β€œtoo muscular.”

πŸ“ Silicon Valley women: if you’re ready to stop guessing and start training for the physique you actually want, we’ll build the entire strategy around you.
