The park offers a two-story community center with classrooms, a fitness center, basketball gymnasium, baseball field & seasonal programs. At the guidance of the CDC and State and County officials, the City will no longer require facial coverings while at City facilities, with some exceptions as required by Federal order. The City still recommends and encourages that all employees, residents, busin
esses, and visitors continue to follow all preventative measures to help protect our community. This includes continuing to take personal responsibility by wearing a facial covering, washing your hands often, practicing a safe social distance, and taking extra precautions when in group settings. The vaccine is our best shot at recovery and a return to complete normalcy. We strongly encourage everyone who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to get vaccinated. *Baseball Field closed when in use for City programming. The Pelican Community Park office remains closed to the public.
