Turkey season 2025 is off to a good start! Mass opener was a success and today we started in New York and ended in Vt on two mature longbeards. Opening days birds in 4 states. Keep it rolling good luck to all the hunters love this time of year!

Catching up here was the spring trip to Texas for Rio Grande turkeys. Needless to say we found the turkeys and managed to fill four in 3 days of hunting. Our first Rios and another step on our way to a grand slam. With our northeast seasons starting this week good luck to all the hunters this spring?

Youth weekend 2025 was again a success. With max pugliese tagging out on two beautiful birds in two states. That makes three years in a row doubling up on youth day making the best of his last one! His turkey this morning was his first wiht a bow and our biggest to date with a typical score of 74.3125 on the NWTF scoring system. 23lbs 9ozs, 11” beard, 1 1/2” and 1 3/8” spurs. Taking max as a youth has been a great experience and I’m sad to see it come to and end but the ending couldn’t be any better!!
