Good Afternoon,

For those who do not know Matt Brown passed away this past Thursday for anyone who would like to attend his services, his brother Mark Brown would like everyone and anyone to attend. Services will be Saturday August 8th 2pm -4pm @ Zweier Funeral Home on Chestnut St in Sunbury.

Following the services there will be a celebration of life at the Sunbury 1s Fire Company, all are welcome.

Attention all pool shooters: the Sunbury Eagles has graciously come up with a menu that is goin to be available for your enjoyment for both the warm up tournaments and for our year end tournament weekends. A very HUGE shout out to the Sunbury Eagles organization, Ed Springfield, Dick Stahl and Shawn Kelson for setting up the pool tables and seating tables and chairs downstairs for the up coming Eric Long Memorial and S.V.B.L. year end tournaments. Guys I can't thank you enough because that is a huge weight off my already fully loaded shoulders!! I just wanted you to know that your hard work and dedication is definitely not going unnoticed. Again I thank you for a huge relief.

We will be having our pre-tournament meeting next Thursday night February 26that 7pm in the Eagles downstairs. Please bring your league books with you so we can get an accurate tournament roster of legal shooters together for the tournament. Also below is a listing of teams that still owe money to the league. Please bring any outstanding money to the meeting.

In regards to the warm up tournaments the flyer will be on here tomorrow for both tournaments. Please feel free to share the post when it becomes available. In years past we have both run them as open tournaments and we have run them as league only tournaments. We use these tournaments not only as a time to practice on the tournament tables but also to make money for the league for table upkeep and year end tournament payouts. Over the years it has become clear that it is more beneficial to the league to run them as OPEN tournaments because we get a better turn out. Therefore this years tournaments are going to open. Thank you for your continued interest.
