What an amazing time we had at the inaugural Sunbury Marathon! Thank you to all our participants, volunteers, and sponsors for making it such a success.

3 days to the Inaugural Sunbury Marathon! Registration will continue through packet pick up on Friday and Saturday unless events sell out first.

Come join us for this exciting new event with custom finisher medals for every event and enjoy complimentary race photos. 

Sat. Sept 12
7:00 a.m. Boston Qualifier Marathon
7:00 a.m. 20 Mile
7:30 a.m. Half Marathon
8:00 a.m. 10 K
8:10 a.m. 1 Mile

Packet pick-up at the Sunbury Town Hall is noon - 7pm on Friday and opens at 6am on race day.

The Sunbury Marathon, a running race in Sunbury Ohio, offers small town charm, a beautiful out-and-back course, an excellent participant experience all at an affordable price. Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K, 1M.

4 Weeks to the Inaugural Sunbury Marathon!!

8-mile morning run with local legend, Zach Kreft (winner and course record holder for the 2026 Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati, in addition to previous wins at Ohio marathons in Dayton, Cleveland and Columbus).

Zach had an easy run, John nearly died. Good luck to anyone running the half marathon on Sept. 12.

Had a great weekend setting a marathon PR at the Charlevoix Marathon. A shout out to Sharon Suffolk for a great race weekend. She was instrumental in inspiring and encouraging me to start the Sunbury Marathon!
