Developing athletes and instilling character through swimming.

Storm has swimmers from Sun Prairie and its surrounding areas, age 6-60, competing in town and around the country. We work extremely hard to create a safe, challenging environment for anyone interested in participating in the sport, with a total roster of over 200 swimmers.

As a reminder here are the changes for the rest of this week!

If your swimmer wants to attend the Terror at Tyrol event, make sure to:
1) Coordinate carpool options.
2) Mark your swimmer as "Yes" on the Storm event page so Coach White has an idea of attendance.
3) Purchase their ticket online. You can find the link on our event page.

It was another meet of high improvement and low levels of DQs, all the things we'd want to see in an early season competition at Deforest High School last weekend. Our girls won the meet while the boys finished 4th, with several swimmers cracking their first ever B cuts. Next up: Verona!

Reminder Friday practices are cancelled due to staffing issues with the district. Saturday is still on, but we are at East now instead of West.

Our volunteers arrive as the sun rose last Saturday, diligently setting up for the first major meet of the season, the Storm Fall Kickoff. Our swimmers arrived shortly thereafter and had an amazing meet -- some of the highest best time rates of any team along with some of the lowest DQ rates (a *fantastic* sign for our newer swimmers). Records were broken, brownies were earned, and the nerves of the first meet were quashed. What a great start! We're back at it this weekend.

Just some practice updates for the start of this week!

Tonight: Practice at East is squished together a little bit, with the first group starting later and the last groups starting earlier. West practices are unchanged.

Tuesday: Everything is normal!

Wednesday: Pool staffing remains a challenge for lifeguards, so we’re condensing Wednesday night. All practices will be at SP East.

Thursday: Stay tuned for an update on whether Typhoon, Senior, and Performance will have practice.

Thanks for your flexibility!
