Wow, what a great week of training. Honored to share at one of GM Lim's school. Back on the mat for Grappling, three rolls. Bull ring last night for the Adult class, everyone did awesome....hard contact, no injuries. Very grateful to have woken up on this side of the grass. Thank you God for another day. Throughout history, Soldiers have honed their skills by lessons learned in actual combat. Our Warrior Ancestors needed to have confidence in their tactics, and in their weapons. This is true of the Caveman, up through the most experienced Special Operator. It wasn't that long ago that some Martial Artists would go out to bars and clubs, and "try out" their training, seeing what worked and what didn't. Of course, we can't do that today....too many guns and not enough bail money. But we can come pretty close by training hard, and by putting some contact drilling/scenarios into our classes.
