What an amazing morning at Paddle & Praise today. The sunrise over the mountains, worship by the lake, and the reminder from Matthew 11:28–30 was exactly what so many of us needed.

Jesus invites us to come to Him with everything we are carrying—and promises rest for our souls.

This past Saturday at Paddle & Praise, we spent some time in James 1:22–25 and talked about a simple truth:

God’s Word isn’t meant simply to inform us. It’s meant to transform us.

James tells us not to be hearers of the Word only—but doers

Look in the mirror.
God’s Word reveals what’s happening in our own hearts.

Don’t walk away.
When God shows us something that needs to change, don’t ignore it.

Put it into practice.
The blessing isn’t simply in knowing more. It’s in allowing God’s truth to change the way we live.

So the question I left everyone with was:

"Lord, what have You already shown me that I need to do?”

Maybe it’s forgiving someone. Apologizing. Making the call. Starting to pray. Taking the step you’ve been putting off.

Whatever it is…

Don’t just hear it. Live it.
