Fe Rowe is the Caloosa Women's Club Champion for 2026!

Fe was in the Championship flight playing from the blue tees. She had an exceptional round 1 score of 76, followed by 88 in round 2, for a total gross score of 164.

Green flight 1 champion is Denise Berry with a total gross score of 173.

The Green Flight 2 champion is Barbara Stebler, with a total gross score of 189.

The Green Flight 3 champion is Judy Peterson, with a total gross score of 212.

2026 CWGA-18 Member-Member Tournament

The Caloosa Women's Golf Association 18-hole league (CWGA18) played their Member-Member Tournament on Monday, February 16th and Wednesday, February 18th. Thirteen teams in three flights teed off for the 36-hole tournament. The format was similar to the Ryder Cup: 6 holes Better Ball of Two - Both partners play their own ball, then 6 holes Alternating Shots and 6 holes scramble. We repeated the same format for the second day. We enjoyed two beautiful days of golf followed by a lovely reception. Prizes were awarded to the low gross and first low net scores in each flight.

The winners for Flight 1: Kim Roush and Fe Rowe won Low Gross with a score of 148; Denise Berry and Kim Moore won 1st Net with a score of 140.

The winners for Flight 2: Jill Wright and Judy Walters won Low Gross with a score of 164; Lynn Noyes and Becky Hall won 1st Net with a score of 145.

The winners for Flight 3: Barb Stebler and Dianne Blackwell won Low Gross with a score of 178; Aileen Engel and Joyce Stafford won 1st Net with a score of 143; Lynda Davies and Karla Pia tied with Rose Bryan and Linda Suh for 2nd Net with a score of 145.

A big thank you to Deb McCanna, CWGA18 Tournament Chair, Lynda Davies and Barb Struble for Golf Genius set up and scoring, and Kim Roush and Denise Berry, Co-chairwomen of the tournament.

Caloosa is very proud and excited to put on a show that is punching way above our weight.

Johnny Rogers, a legitimate rock and roll Hall of Famer, is going to be in the building saturday, February the 21st at 6:30 p.m.

Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ricky Nelson, Chuck Berry, even Elvis will not leave the building!

Kim Roush, winner of the 2025 President's Cup, was presented with a gift by Joe DeFelice, Caloosa Golf & Country Club president at the CWGA-18 Holiday & Awards Luncheon. Joe also recognized Kim's years of service to the club and our community. Congratulations to Kim.

The Caloosa Casual Party Club’s “Wild Thing” dinner dance was well attended with 60 members. Tony & Tricia were the entertainers, and Jana Roberts and Karen Druhe were among the wildest!
