The Sumter Surge are proud to announce the Garrick-Boykin Human Development Center at Morris College (Morris College) as our official home venue for the 2027 inaugural season!

This is more than a court—it’s where a new chapter of professional basketball in Sumter begins.

We’re excited to officially welcome Kaleigh Pearson as the Dance Instructor for the Sumter Surge! 💃🏽🏀

Kaleigh will lead the development of our dance team while creating opportunities for youth dancers to perform alongside the team, participate in special game-day performances, and be part of the Surge experience.

This is about more than entertainment on game day — we’re building a program that gives dancers in our community another platform to perform, grow, and shine.

What a day at the Sumter Surge Youth Skills Clinic!

Today was about more than drills and basketball. It was about teaching the game, building confidence, creating memories, and giving our young athletes an opportunity to learn, compete, and have FUN. ❤️

A huge thank you to every young athlete who joined us, every parent who trusted us with their child, our coaches and staff, and everyone who helped make today possible.

This is only the beginning of what we’re building in Sumter.
