Bridgeport night 1 was a success, unloaded and felt comfortable in hot laps and didn't change a thing for qualifying.

Qualified P3 out of 24 cars which was huge for my confidence as a driver and the car handled so perfectly.

Heat race was inverted fast qualifiers started P6 and feature lineups was based on passing points + qualifying points, took the green and passed 2 cars on the opening lap in turns 1 & 2 and begun working on 3rd, had a big run on the outside and the last second before the turn the 3rd place runner adjusted his line and jumped over my left front tire folding my nose wing and spinning us both out. Re fired the car off P8 and it was a total handful but was able to finish 7th.

Feature time rolling off P16, set the car up for a slick surface and had a bit too much forward drive in it and was wayyyy too tight to be maneuverable and just held on best I could, finished P14 and didn't break anything else so all in all a good night.

Can't thank George Loux and Finally Racing enough for letting me borrow their spare nose wing and for his mentorship.

Unfortunately Beckley Motor Speedway got to much rain and had cancel tomorrow's program with the Carolina Sprint Tour. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Randy Kinder and the whole track staff for keeping us informed of the cancelation early! Can't wait to be back at Beckley SOON!

With that being said, we are still heading north, to race with the PA Sprint Series at Path Valley Speedway Park! See ya there!

Saturday we were in action with Carolina Sprint Tour at Wythe Raceway and boy was that place a blast to get around! The amount of g forces felt in the turns was incredible.

We made good adjustments all night and just come up a little short, got stuck behind a car with engine issues in the heat missing the redraw.

Feature started P9 and went for the hero move in 1&2 around the outside and was passing for 4th when I reached up for a tear off and my shield on my helmet started separating so I was navigating around the fast 1/2 mile track looking through a dime sized hole (not ideal).
A red flag situation would occur on lap 15 unfortunately ending 3 fellow competitors evenings and advancing us up to P6 and securing the hard charger award.

Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, Carolina Sprint Tour, 602 Late Models, 602 Modified and Crown Vics will all take part in our Wilkesboro Weekend event.

Track is ready. We are also prepared for any summer storm that may pass through in the early afternoon, but we see nothing that will keep us from getting our event in and on schedule tonight!!!
