Sumner Spartans Boys Lacrosse is seeking a Varsity Head Coach to lead our student-athletes, continue developing our growing program, and compete in one of the strongest lacrosse conferences in the South Sound.

We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about teaching the game, building relationships, developing young men, and fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the field.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive community and help guide a program with a bright future.

Interested candidates must apply and meet the requirements of the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District.

For the past couple years, Coach Dawson Cutright has been the steady hand leading our Spartans. His passion, commitment, and leadership have left a lasting mark on this program. From the highs of big wins to the lessons learned through adversity, Coach Cutright has always led with character, integrity, and a genuine care for every athlete who wore the Spartan purple.
As Dawson steps away from the program to focus on his exciting journey of becoming a new father, we want to offer our sincere gratitude and congratulations.

Thank you, Coach Cutright, for everything you’ve given to this program. We wish you, your wife, and your growing family nothing but the very best in this next chapter. We will miss you on the sidelines, but we know you won’t be too far.

Huge congratulations to our five Spartans recognized on the Olympic‑Puget Division I All‑Conference Team. These athletes earned their spots through grit, consistency, and standout performances all season long.

⚔️ LEGACY TROPHY STAYS IN SUMNER! ⚔️

The Spartans showed up last night and defended the Legacy Trophy against the Auburn Riverside Ravens. As always, it was a loud, intense, rivalry‑charged matchup — and the Ravens brought a crowd of their own. But the boys answered. Sumner keeps the trophy home for another year with a 13–7 victory.

• Ryan — 3 goals, 1 assist
• Ethan — 1 goal, 3 assists
• Emerson — 3 goals

🛡️ Defensive & Possession Standouts
• Elias — 6 ground balls, relentless all night
