As many of you know our dear friend and former NJDTE Buisness Manager, Nancy Paulson has passed away. Nancy was a true force and supporter in every way for New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble from 1994 to 2005. Beyond her endless work with the school and company she was a known to be a great mentor, psychologist & nurse at times and believer in arts and artists. She changed the lives of so many with her authentic self. We hold Nancy's life dear in all of our hearts forever. We would like to send our love and support to her two daughters, , Sarah H. Paulson, both graduates of NJDTE and celebrated artists and her wonderful husband Lael Paulson who worked backstage and behind the scenes for so many years. Nancy will be truly missed yet her passion for the arts and artists has made infinite impact in the dance community. Please leave a comment and year you were at NJDTE with Nancy.

We are thrilled to work with Sam Pott and NIMBUS as they transition to the Summit Studios, formerly NJDTE. We are delighted to welcome the new Co-Directors of the NIMBUS School, Sarah Lane and Marie Svosec. Sarah Lane, a phenomenal artist and brilliant teacher and coach has captivated the dance world with her artistry and dedication to nurturing talent. Marie Svosec, is a true force in the dance community who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the art form. We look forward with great enthusiasm to seeing the incredible impact they will have on the dancers and the school.

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble's Award-winning Artistic Director, Nancy Turano will take a final bow after 31 years at the helm of the organization. NJDTE will close its doors on June 1, 2025, after serving the New Jersey Community for 56 years.

Dear NJDTE Family, As many of you may know one of our alumni Clare Larkin Mallaney has left this realm. Clare was a passionate dancer and choreographer who was always searching deeply as an artist and soulful being. Her performances were unforgettable, raw & firey. She will be deeply missed. Her roles in "Legions" & her Senior Solo by Sidra Bell, "Snow" by Andrea Miller and "Gesto" by Cherice Barton are only a few works I captured here. She choreographed "The Anthropology of a Vanishing Woman" in 2014 for NJDTE. She always kept in touch and commented on the upcoming dancers and insisted if we needed a dancer "she remembered the choreography". It is not easy to know that your student, fellow dancer and family member has left so soon. Her body is free now as she dances in the ethereal realm. We Love you Clare. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family Barbara Mallaney, . Rest in Power Clare! ❤️

NJDTE celebrates their 55th Anniversary of the holiday classic, THE NUTCRACKER at the Memorial Auditorium, Montclair State University. This production is set to music by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, choreographed by NJDTE award-winning Artistic Director, Nancy Turano and features 54 talented, pre-professional dancers from New Jersey along with international guest artists from the metro area.
