The lunch outing today at Outback had a small group! 6 people, They enjoyed each others company, and had some good food!! It was decided that we will hold off on our lunch outings until possibly the 1st of the year! With holidays coming up. I'm looking forward to getting back into our routine as soon as I can!! Thanks to all who have helped out by taking pictures, and going to the lunch outings and my Instructors for stepping in for me and each other.. I may surprise you and show up at the luncheon next month!!😉

SEPTEMBER 2026

Thursday 9-3-26 Orientation from 1-2 PM: Any Questions you may have about the SilverSneakers Program/classes, or the equipment in the Gym. An instructor will be here to answer questions and help.

Monday 9-7-26 NO CLASS LABOR DAY

Tuesday 9-8-26 NO CLASS Meet at Horizon Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. This will be our FALL Luncheon! Please have food there by 11:30 so we can set up and get our group picture. Our guest speaker will be Brannon from Advance Rehabilitation. After he is finished we will eat! Please come in your favorite Fall attire.

First I would like to say **HUGS** Thank you to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers,cards,text,calls visits!!! I miss everyone and look forward to returning in November...

Don't forget the lunch outing this Wednesday 8-26-26 at Outback in Rome, They are expecting 10 people between 12:15-and 12:30 Just tell them you are with the SilverSneakers group!! And Jordon said they would take care of you from there!! Have Fun and Please send me or Post pictures!!!

We had beautiful weather for our Picnic/Pool Lunch outing on 7-29-26. Everyone brought a picnic lunch, and several brought Deserts!! Lots of yummy good stuff. We had 15 people attend. Paul Chiou even went for some laps! a few others actually got in and enjoyed the pool. We all had a great time.

REMINDER: WEDNESDAY 7-29-26 from 12-3 PM
It's our July lunch outing!!! It will be held at Jeannie Chesley's home. We will have a Picnic/Pool Party! Don't forget you towels and drinks... You can pack a picnic lunch or just bring along something to share. I have the paper plates napkins and plastic ware.

Mrs. Imogene Patterson Tidmore age 86 of Summerville, GA passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026 at a local healthcare facility.

Mrs. Tidmore was born June 9, 1940 in Fort Payne, AL to the late Arnold and Effie Schrader Patterson. She was retired from Shaw Industries and was of the Church of God Faith.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Tidmore; and her siblings, Johnny Patterson, D.L. Patterson, Bobby Patterson, and Doris Headrick.

Survivors include her children, Jamey (Marcia) Tidmore and Tammy Lay; grandchildren, Turner Lay, Jared Lay, and Zach Mildren; great-grandchildren, Choebe Lay and Cedar Lay; siblings, Charles Patterson, Emma Crawford, Dovie Patterson, and Kathleen Lowry; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Tidmore will take place at 2:00 PM Friday, July 24 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Turner Lay officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday (July 24) from 12:00 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.

Please keep her family in our thoughts and prayers.. Imogen came to our Silversneakers for several years...

Reminder!!! Lunch outing tomorrow Wednesday 6-24-26 at Chick-Fil-A on Shorter Ave. in Rome. They expect the group around 12:00 12:15. I told them to expect 10 to 15 people. You all have a Great time!!! Our Next Lunch Outing will be announced soon!!! Think Picnic. 😉😀
