The Christmas Weiner
of Rich’s Outdoor World
Have you ever heard of the Christmas Pickle? If not, the Christmas pickle is an ornament that is placed on a Christmas tree as one of the decorations. On Christmas morning, the first child to find the pickle on the tree would receive an extra present from Santa Claus or would be said to have a year of good fortune.
So, here at Rich’s, we’ve decided to start our own tradition much like the legendary Christmas Pickle. Only here, we’ll have a Christmas WIENER! One of our employees will hide the wiener (hot dog) somewhere in our store. The first customer to find the Wiener will receive a $10 gift certificate, an award, and their photo taken for the new “Wiener Wall”. If the wiener goes unfound, each following week the gift certificate will increase by $5. If by chance the Wiener goes unfound up until Christmas Eve, one random lucky customer will be given the gift certificate!
Here’s a breakdown of the rules!
*This being our first year, we’re starting on Saturday, December 14th. However, for the following years, we will start on Thanksgiving Day!
* If the Wiener is not found by the following Saturday, the Wiener will be hidden again and the gift certificate amount will increase by $5. (This will happen every Saturday up until Christmas Eve)
* If the Wiener is not found by Christmas Eve, one random customer that comes into the store will receive the gift certificate.
