Lastnight finished up our 10U girls for District play as they won 2 games on Monday night to punch their ticket to STATE & then returned for the Championship game on Tuesday night and won it, putting the girls as DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!

These girls fought hard and came to win on Tuesday night and weren’t playing around!

Way to go girls and goodluck in State as they travel to Centerville to represent us!!

The 6U girls are STATE BOUND!!!

With beating Perry County on Monday night 8-7, (which now punched their ticket to State). They turned around and played a really good team in Decatur County and lost 9-2.

These girls received Runner-Up for district and fought really hard to come up through the losers bracket and finish strong!

They also received the SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD for the 6U group and showed a lot of class out on the field and in the stands!

Let’s congratulate and wish these girls Goodluck as they represent Summertown in the State, which starts play on June 24th of next week! 🥎

Our 8U girls had to battle back vs a really good team in Lewis County and had to win back to back games to finish District Champs…and that’s just what they done!

First game was 18-10 Summertown!!

Second game was 9-8 Summertown!!

Your 8U girls are DISTRICT CHAMPS and are headed to Rockwood on June 24th of next week to represent Summertown in State!

Congratulations on being District Champs, now go to Rockwood and represent Summertown well girls!!! 🥎

Our 8U boys season came to an end on Monday night as the traveled back to Parsons and finished the game that was in rain delay from Saturday night, They were down 7-3 and it was just too much of a deficit to come back from, as a few costly errors accounted for 6 more runs as Lewis County took the win 13-3.

We want to congratulate these boys on a great and fun season!

Although it didn’t end the way we may have wanted it too, these boys did end up with some Hardware for the weekend as they received the SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD for the tournament!

Big thank you to the parents/coaches on being the best and helping out every way you could for these boys! ⚾️

The 8U girls play tonight as well in the CHAMPIONSHIP game vs Lewis County @ Summertown !!

Reminder that tonight our 8U boys & 6U girls will travel back to Parsons to play.

6U girls will play Perry County and with a win will advance to state tournament action!

8U boys will finish their game vs Lewis County , where they are down 7-3 in a must win game!

Let’s wish both these teams some goodluck tonight as they make the trip over! ⚾️ 🥎

The 8U girls started play on Saturday in Summertown against a really good Lewis County team, as they took a hard loss and got run ruled in 3 innings..

They didn’t let that win bother them any though and bounced right back and beat a good Decatur county team to Advance them to STATE TOURNAMENT play!

But the job isn’t done yet, as they will come back out on Monday night against Lewis County and play for the District Championship!

So if you aren’t busy on Monday night, please come out to the Dixie fields and cheer on these girls for the district championship game(s), as they will need to beat Lewis County TWICE to win in all!

The 10U girls started their game yesterday evening vs Lewis County and was down 3-2 in the 5th inning when the weather rolled in on them as well.

They will finish play on Monday evening County as well, with a win they will advance to State tournament play!

Let’s wish them some goodluck on Monday!

Our 8U boys took a loss to Collinwood in their first game of action on Saturday 8-0.

They had a game break and returned to action against Wayne County and was down 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th & scored 7 runs to comeback and win 10-9 with a walk off hit from Ashton Miller to end it!

They had another game break and then started play against Lewis County, when the weather rolled in and stopped play. The game will resume Monday night in Parsons with Lewis County up 7-3 in the bottom of the 3rd.

Let’s wish these boys goodluck Monday!! ⚾️
