Me and Logan finished in 10th place (out of 37 teams) with a five fish limit at 11.20 pounds. We caught over 30 fish, before we stopped counting, but we just couldn’t catch many keepers. We still had a lot of fun. Thank you to Mr. Ed for being our Boat Captain. I’ll share more photos later. I’m going fishing again…

‘Till sunset.

I’ll be fishing my first tournament of the season this Saturday, and we get to start it off at home on Santee Cooper. I’ve been putting in the work all summer. I’ve spent a lot of time fishing at our pond, trying new baits, learning different techniques, and getting more comfortable with stuff I haven’t used much before. I’ve also spent a lot of time on the lake, trying different spots, figuring out what they’re biting, and learning what works and what definitely doesn’t.

Santee has always been my toughest lake when it comes to tournament day. It’s skunked me twice. On a regular fishing day I can catch them just fine. Hopefully Saturday feels like just another regular day on the lake except this time there’s a weigh-in at the end and a win.

🎣 It’s almost tournament time!! 🎣

I will be fishing our FIRST SC High School Bass Challenge tournament of the 2026/2027 season on Saturday, October 3rd at the Santee Cooper Lakes.

We blast off at safe light, and weigh-in starts at 2:00 PM at John C. Land Landing!

We are allowed to get sponsors to help with things like boat gas, fishing tackle, gear, insurance, travel, and other tournament expenses. If you would like to help sponsor me this season, I would REALLY appreciate it! Every little bit helps me keep doing what I love!
