A couple months ago, the best frog/Buzzbait rod I’ve ever had broke. It was a prototype rod so it was one of a kind, but when I hit up SCENKO STIX about helping me find the next best thing, I found the NEW best thing! I got the 7’3 Heavy Fast Expansion Series rod and have been putting it through a big time Buzzbait workout while that bite is hot and it is proving itself to be the best rod for what I need it for! 🔥🔥🔥 Vibe Kayaks

The SC B.A.S.S. nation state championship was WILD! Bass were not at all where you would expect them to be this time of year. This chunky spot came off the back of a dock in the back of a creek in about 2 feet of water 😳. Had a blast figuring these fish out, just couldn’t get to enough quality fish with what I figured out. Last week I hopped in my first ever night tournament on Lake Keowee with SC Yak and came home with an exciting win and Big Bass! It was pretty crazy being out there at night and trying to fish. I was so used to being able to see everything that when I went fish things like laydowns and docks I was like a kid learning how to fish and getting hung up on everything. I finally got a good feel for it towards the end but the money was made when I stumbled across a dock with a submerged light. I saw these two torpedo like silhouettes cruising around crashing on bait and immediately got excited. Back to back casts I caught my 19.25” spotted bass that one big bass and then an 18.25” largemouth. These fish were really fun, but it was the 15” bass I caught on a shaky head with 15 minutes left that ultimately got me the win! Vibe Kayaks

I don’t really know how to put into words how much it means to be named a Top 10 finalist for the Yak Tribe™ Kayak Fishing People’s Choice Award for Most Knowledgeable Kayak Angler.

The media retreat was absolutely amazing! It was a great opportunity to work with some great people and companies and make some new friends along the way. I got to fish with a bunch of great people and learn a lot throughout the weekend! Can’t thank Roy enough for putting together such an incredible event at 🔥
