The fishing has still been great even with the hot weather. I had a one person trip yesterday and we didn’t have any problems finding a lot of fish. We caught all the sandbass and channel cat we wanted and finished the morning off with a limit of hybrids. Today we didn’t waste any time putting three limits of big sandbass in the boat then we went looking for some hybrids. We got them fired up for a minute and put several good ones in the boat before calling it a morning. I have a lot of days available, we can start early and get done before it gets hot.

After being off the water for a couple of weeks it was time to get back after it. Saturday we got a late start and it was already hot when we got on the water. I looked around and found alot of sandbass and hybrids but they didn’t want to do much biting. I decided to look around for some big catfish and it take long to find a big group. We made one short drift through them and caught a couple good fish before we headed in. This morning we got back after the whites and hybrids. They still weren’t biting great but we stuck with them and put a three man limit of each in the boat along with a bunch of channel cat as well. I have way to many days open including most of next week if anyone wants to do some fishing just shoot me a message.

The fishing has been about as good as it could get the last few days. Thursday I did a late morning early afternoon trip looking for a bunch of sandbass for the kids. It didn’t take long to get on a school of nice sized fish and we started putting them in the boat four at a time. Friday morning I found a couple of the biggest schools of fish I have seen in a long time with lots of them being hybrids. The east wind made the bite super finicky but we still filled the cooler with jumbo sandbass and caught a lot of hybrids only problem was they were a little on the small side. I started in the same place Saturday thinking the west wind would have them biting and I was right. We spotlocked the boat in 2.5 of water and never moved for 4 hours catching big sandbass and hybrids every cast. I have Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday open this week if anyone wants to catch a cooler full of fish. It’s a great time to bring the kids out for fast paced action.

I took a little time off for vacation but I’m back and have several days the next couple of weeks I need to fill. My last trip out we had our 3 man limit of big hybrids and released several before finishing up catching sandbass. We can leave out early to beat the heat. It was a great morning to be on the lake. We didn’t have no problems filling the cooler with sandbass, hybrids and catfish. I have this Friday 7/10 available if anyone wants to catch a bunch of fish. I also have some days available the last couple of weeks of the month.
