Need a break from the busy school week? Come hang out at the lake this weekend!
We've got the Friends of SCPL Corn Hole Tournament kicking off Saturday at 10am, then stick around for the Michael McCartney Band from 8-11pm at Hinesley Pavilion, we're celebrating Lee Hargis's birthday and everyone's welcome to join the party!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and coworker, Jaime Followell, who left us this past Sunday at the age of 49.

For 4 ½ years, Jaime was a cherished part of the Sullivan County Park and Lake family...many of you knew her from the gatehouse, and later from our office.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing this Friday from 4-7 PM at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM.

Please keep Jaime's family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time. 💛

Announcing the 14th campsite LOTTERY!
The following campsites will be drawn for at noon on Tuesday, Aug 11th. The following campsites are up for lottery: A-8, D-15, D-21, G-32, SR-26, SR-35, SR-36, PV-32, PV-43, PV-44 & PV-45. If you are interested, please call the Office at 812-268-5537, between now and 11:45 am tomorrow, and ask to have your name added to the lottery list. We do not accept texts, messages, voicemails or emails and the list does not carry over to the next lottery. Do not call the gatehouse. If your name is drawn, and you change your mind and back out, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. Campsites are $350 per month and that includes your water and electric. In addition, you will need to purchase an annual entrance if you haven't already purchased one. Payment is expected in full upon winning of lottery. Good luck!

Our Camp-Wide Yard Sale is the perfect excuse to take a leisurely ride around the campground, visit with fellow campers, and see what treasures you might find! From household goodies and camping gear to clothes, toys, décor, and everything in between....you never know what you’ll discover!

Campers: Start gathering those items you no longer need and turn your campsite into your own little yard sale!

Shoppers: Bring your cash, your shopping bags, and your treasure-hunting spirit! You just might find that perfect something you didn’t know you needed. 😉

FREE Backpack Giveaway!

Sullivan County Park & Lake is giving away backpacks for grades K-5th, 17 for boys and 27 for girls!

We’ve noticed that some campers are placing household bags of trash in the bathhouse trash cans located in A Circle.

Those trash cans are intended for small bathroom waste only. If you have bagged campsite trash, please dispose of it in the designated dumpsters located behind the park office.

When the bathhouse trash cans are filled with household garbage, they quickly overflow and create extra work for our maintenance staff. If this continues, we may have no choice but to lock the entire bathhouses located in A Circle, which would impact access for everyone.

Please help us keep these facilities clean and convenient for all campers by using the proper dumpsters for your campsite trash. Thank you for doing your part to keep Sullivan County Park & Lake beautiful!

🎶 Open Mic Night is happening this weekend at Sullivan County Park & Lake! 🎶

Kick off your weekend with an evening of live local music at the Hinesley Pavilion tonight from 7:00–9:00 PM!
Whether you're taking the stage or just coming to enjoy the music, it's the perfect way to spend a summer evening by the lake. Bring your lawn chairs or golf carts, invite your friends, and enjoy great local talent in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
