Another new face at Sullivan!!

My name is Kazia and I’m excited to be a part of the Phoenix team!

I grew up in Lawrenceville, IL and attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I studied Kinesiology. After graduating, I went on to Lake Land College to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. I’ve always enjoyed being active and learning about movement, which naturally led me to a career in physical therapy.

Outside of work, my free time revolves around the things I enjoy most, such as running, lifting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I’ve always enjoyed staying active and setting goals for myself, while still making plenty of time for the people and experiences that make life fun.

Meet our new Physical Therapist for the Sullivan Clinic!!

Ben Houska grew up in Shelbyville IL before pursuing a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Southern IL University in 2019 and then graduating with his doctorate of physical therapy at Western Carolina University in 2022.

Ben is a lover of the outdoors and enjoys hobbies such as backpacking, gardening, and kayaking. He is passionate about the study of nutrition and believes that health is one of most important aspects of living a fulfilling life. Ben is excited to help the residents of Sullivan and the surrounding area to overcome their injuries and live healthier lives.
