What a great day on the water! These folks from Florida spent the first part of their trip battling tarpon and catching some quality mangrove snapper. They kept just enough for the night’s dinner. After a successful morning of fishing, we picked up the rest of the family and headed to one of our beautiful local sandbars to cool off, swim, and enjoy everything the Lower Keys has to offer.

There’s nothing quite like watching someone catch their first tarpon on the fly. Three brothers came to the Lower Keys with one goal—to catch tarpon—and what a day it turned out to be! These incredible fish are something you’ll never forget once you’re hooked up.

On just a half-day charter, we landed two huge tarpon boatside and had an unforgettable time. We came close to making it three, but we’ll be ready to get that third one for the little brother on the next trip!

JD from Orlando had an incredible time battling this beautiful Key West and Lower Keys tarpon on a fly rod. After an exciting fight, we safely released this awesome fish to fight another day. He was able to catch and release a couple of these beauties.
