Memorial DAY WEEKEND
POWERFUL
Death is a Hard memory, tough on all , however this why we have a Memorial Day weekend , gatherings , picnics , fun times remembering, however some of us remember direct things , a smile , a pool game you played with your friend , eating Sushi with each other , hanging out , Cruising down Modesto Blvd in my GTO (Goat) chasing girls , playing Tennis , kicking each other in the head , just hanging , I miss my buddies but cherish the fact I remember

One morning , my attitude changed after a phone call I received and I will never forget 9/11

Hey Sensei ,won’t be seeing you this year at the event , sorry I am in a kind of predicament, met this chick and She wanted me to meet her for breakfast , she works on the 23rd floor of the twin towers , she is a Black Belt in Manhattan at Kyokushin DoJo which is now Sedio Karate , I remember you use to talk of you and William Oliver and Tadashi Nakumura, Osu

! Iv’e really enjoyed my trip and vacation , weird it going to end this way ,
Call Susan and the kids and tell them how much martial arts meant to me , it changed my life .
I love training with you and the guys ,I will never forget , goodbye Sensei
I love you

America ,please never forget , no matter how many years go by , please remember our fallen hero’s , law enforcement , fire fighters and Black Belts who lost their lives that morning , no matter how they got in those buildings and they were taken from us , forgiving is one thing but never forget

Real Karate Dreams

You are in the deep forest in the middle of nowhere, silent as a forest can be, you can hear every sound around you, every step is a new sound and in a distant,,, you hear a new sound
You hear a consistent sound over and over again,
It is mesmerizing because it had been silent in your dream.

A big “THUG”, the sound it is constant, “THUG, THUG, THUG, THUG, THUG ” over and over again,,,,,
You follow the sound through the deep woods underbrush, though the stickers, briars until an opening in the wooded area
You see a train track
You follow it until you see one large locomotive sitting on the track, by itself,, as you walk slowly around the huge steel piece of machinery
The THUG sound now is getting louder and louder, stronger and stronger,, now you hear a grunt with every THUG, GRUNT, THUG, GRUNT, THUG, GRUNT, THUG, GRUNT THUG,
You walk to the front and a small 5’5 Japanese man in a white uniform and Black Belt, drenched in sweat and hands bleeding standing in low Hicibi-Dachi horse stance hitting the front of the locomotive with low hard reverse punches and hitting with his Seiken (forefist) front second knuckle)”
Then you witness,,,, THUG, E-Yaaaaaaa THUG, GRUNT THUG, E-Yaaaaaaaa, THUG, GRUNT, THUG, K-Yaaaaaa, THUG, GRUNT, THUG over and over and over again and again.and again

These are the dreams of “The Karate Whisperer”
