For a dancer, there are moments when dance becomes much more than a performance—it becomes an offering, a prayer, and an expression of devotion. To present Kathak in the sacred atmosphere of the Mandir and dedicate every movement, rhythm, and expression at the feet of the Divine was truly a special experience.

On Saturday,I had the honor of serving as a judge for the dance competition”Dance N Dazzle”organized by Orissa Culture Center, Houston.
It was a pleasure to witness such passionate, talented, and dedicated performers. Every participant brought enthusiasm and hard work to the stage, making the experience both inspiring and enjoyable.
Congratulations to all the performers, teachers, and parents for their efforts.
I was also fortunate to meet with Padmashree Dr. Aruna Mohanty Ji, who graced the event as the Guest of Honor.
Thank you once again, OCC, for your warm hospitality and for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

From students appearing for their very first exam to those taking their higher level exams,it is beautiful to see their growth, discipline, and excitement.

This year, Mother’s Day arrived right in the middle of our Kathak exams with practice sessions in full swing. On this special Mother’s Day, I want to thank all the wonderful moms who stood behind their children every step of the way. From bringing them to classes , helping them stay focused, encouraging them through nervous moments, and supporting their preparation with so much love, your role has been invaluable.
A student’s success is never just their own. It is also a reflection of the love, patience, and support of the family behind them. Your dedication becomes part of every performance and every achievement.

Our hearts are full as we look back on Udaan 2026, a truly beautiful and unforgettable celebration of dance, dedication, and togetherness.
What unfolded on that stage was far more than a recital. It was the coming together of months of hard work, quiet perseverance, loving support, and the shared joy of art. To witness 650+ people gathered in encouragement and appreciation was deeply moving for all of us.
To our sponsors, students, and parents, thank you for believing in this journey and for standing beside us every step of the way. Your support gave wings to this dream and helped make Udaan 2026 a soaring success.
