Coach Crowhop's Baseball Camps Fort Bend's premier baseball camp teaching fundamentals and advanced training in a competitive, enjoyable atmosphere for kids ages 6 to 12.

Twenty-three years ago, longtime Ft.Bend area Coach Ted "Crowhop" Harris wanted to bring a premier baseball camp to the Ft. Bend area dedicated to teaching the game in a competitive, enjoyable atmosphere. CCBC now enjoys the reputation that nowhere in the Houston area can you receive better baseball camp instruction. Talk to previous campers and you will learn how their game improved and that they

continue to use the coaching points and phrases learned in CCBC. Our desire is to teach an appreciation of the game and instill a desire to improve and work on their skills even "on a rainy day by themselves." Camps are an excellent setting for instruction and learning the basics and intricacies of the game. The competition is slowed down and the learning and improvement is geared up. Of course, the reason you go out for baseball is for the competition and games because that's where the fun is, but many times the instruction takes a back seat during the hectic schedule of the season. Camps slow the pace down where instead of preparing for the big game, skill improvement is emphasized. So, our goal is for every camper to leave the camp improved, with an increased appreciation for the game of baseball, and to enjoy stepping on the diamond. After 26 fabulous years, I retired Coach Crowhop's Baseball Camps. Thank you to the Ft. Bend Baseball Community for supporting our camp all these years. We estimate about 8,000 young baseball players attended one of our camps or clinics including 2 Major League Stars, James Loney (retired) & Matt Carpenter (St. Louis Cardinals).
One of our coaches is giving group & individual lessons. He is Carter Welch, asst. coach @ Travis HS (2021 District Champions). He is an excellent instructor with young kids & can be reached at 281-450-5559.

Day two is in the book for our fun baseball camps. Kids are having a blast! Camp 2 and 3 are filling up fast! Safety of the kids is our priority. Ted cleaned out the CVS for all their products. Come join us!

Thanks Carie & Kirby. It;s always fun to work w the Lawsons, Kirby being a Crowhopper in it's 1st year 24 years ago as he ran through a fence to catch a fly ball. And catch he did while later playing strong safety for me at Elkins High School. And now his 2 sons are Crowhoppers! Pretty cool!
