Something I am extremely proud of. Throwback Tuesday. It's a great read about balancing successes with struggles while appreciating the lessons and blessings from having my brother Mattie. I always like to look back to this when things get tough. I am so blessed and so lucky. This journey has been crazy but so much fun and has created so much growth and learning. I suggest you find something to hold on to and use as a reference point for happiness and humility. 💪🏼✊🏼

Motivation Monday: Baseball is a game of controllables and uncontrollables. What we focus on can directly affect our successes and failures. We can control our EFFORT and our ATTITUDE at all times and in order to let the process continue to work we must never lose those values. Respect the game and respect the process and watch all else fall into place organically.

This is my friend, teammate and long time major leaguer Endy Chavez. Endy has played 11 seasons in the major leagues and at 38 years old is on pace to win an Atlantic League batting title, hitting .340 to date. Endy has a very structured batting practice routine each and everyday to allow him to stay consistent. Here we can see Endy's first round of flips in the cage, letting the ball get deep and working on staying inside the baseball and hitting low line drives. This allows him to work on his rhythm and timing as well as feel his barrel and control it. Having routines are so important in the process of hitting because we are all unique and have our own style and identity as a hitter. All of this ties together the importance of being both mentally and physically prepared in your work.

Through almost a decade of professional baseball I have become a successful, insightful leader that can unite a team and create a positive vibration everywhere and anywhere I go. The ultimate team player, in all aspects of life.
