❄️Winter Weather Cancellation❄️

Due to the forecasted heavy
snow, high winds, and arctic temperatures, our BKL session will be canceled this Sunday, January 20th.

The weekend is here! Sunday BKL is right around the corner and we have SNOW! We will all meet at Ski Hearth Farm 10:00 sharp and dress warm. For those who need ski rentals, come a little early. Can't wait!

Hi All! Can't wait to see you at our first BKL meet tomorrow! Since Ski Hearth Farm is closed right now, here is the plan:

Meet at Ski Hearth Nordic by 10:00 (PLEASE BE ON TIME). For member rentals, skis will be lined up and ready to go. We will then carpool to the Tramway parking (park at the left hand area, south side, immediately upon pulling into Tramway parking area. There is a plowed sidewalk that leads to Profile Parking driveway).

We'll be playing fun snow games that work on balance/technique. I have several fun ideas such as peace tag, red light/ green light, and more. There is a mix of soft, deep snow, as well as crust areas plus a sloped area for up hill downhill practice.

PLEASE BRING: snacks, water/juice, extra mittens, dress in layers.

Fun things to do if we get cold, tired, or just have had too much FUN: Visit the New England Ski Museum to check out the Ski History displays and learn more about our area's ski history. They are expecting us....I stopped by there today. Or/and go to the Tram building to explore, have a cocoa, warm up, rest rooms available.
