The Tarpestry is an outdoor blanket with water repellent base fabric. Each Tarpestry includes a velcro pocket to hold your belongings and four grommet rings (one on each corner). With the grommet rings you can stake down the Tarpestry or rope it up for sun/rain/wind protection. The Tarpestry is perfect for parks, sporting events, outdoor concerts, camping trips, beaches, festivals, in your backyard and even as a poncho in a rainy predicament!

After 15 years, we have something important to share. This one’s personal.

Tarpestry has been our life’s work since 2011. Fifteen years of making something we’re proud of, building a community we love, and showing up every day for a brand we believe in with our whole heart.

Right now, we’re struggling. Covid hit us hard — like it did so many small businesses — and we never fully recovered. Costs went up 30-40% across the board. Revenue dropped. We’ve been fighting to keep the lights on.

But we’re not writing to say goodbye. We’re writing because we have a real plan to not just survive but grow bigger than we’ve ever been.

We’ve secured a manufacturing partnership that cuts our production costs by more than 50%. For the first time in 15 years, we can finally hit the price points that retail stores require. The brand is intact. The audience is real. The path forward is clear.
We just need the right people to grow with us.
