The fishing is over.
The prizes have been handed out.
The boats are loaded.
The dads are cleaning up.

And Storm? Storm has her priorities straight. 🤣

Forget the bass. Forget the competition. Forget everything else that happened today.

There’s a popsicle, and that’s the only thing that matters.

After a long day at the Father’s Day event with Island Bass Pursuit and KYR, our four-legged supervisor was rewarded with the most important catch of the day—a nice cold popsicle. 🍧💙

After roughly 4,000 casts, 100+ blowups, countless missed hooksets, and enough heartbreak to make a grown angler cry, it finally happened…

Sam landed her first fish on a frog! 🎉

Was it a giant? Nope.
Was it the biggest bass of the day? Not even close.
Did it matter? Absolutely not.

That fish made it into the boat, and the scream that followed probably scared every bass within a quarter mile. 🤣

Of course, this monumental achievement happened on Father’s Day, so sorry Shawn… your Father’s Day fishing trip has officially been remembered as the day Sam finally caught one on a frog. 😆

Sometimes fishing isn’t about the size of the fish. It’s about the challenge, the persistence, and that one moment when everything finally comes together.

Here’s to never giving up, even after thousands of casts. 🐸💪

Father’s Day on the Water 🎣❤️

There’s something special about a calm morning, a boat full of family, and the possibility of a big bass around the next patch of lily pads.

This Father’s Day was spent exactly where we love to be—on the new boat with Shawn, Sam, Monkey, and Storm, chasing bass and making memories.

The fish will come and go. The photos will fade. But these moments—laughing together, sharing stories, celebrating little victories, and simply being on the water as a family—those are the catches that last forever.

To all the dads who teach us patience, perseverance, and a love for the outdoors, Happy Father’s Day. Thank you for the early mornings, the untangled lines, the life lessons, and the memories that become family traditions.

Today wasn’t just about bass fishing. It was about family. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day from Knot Your Rods! 🎣❤️

Today was all about making memories on the water. Watching dads and kids spend the day fishing together, sharing laughs, catching bass, and enjoying the outdoors is what it’s all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the event such a great success. The kids went home with goodie bags, smiles, and stories to tell… while the dads went home with a few fish and the cleanup duties. 🤣

To all the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, father figures, and fishing buddies who show up day after day—thank you. Thank you for teaching patience, sharing your knowledge, cheering from the sidelines, and creating the kinds of memories that last a lifetime.

We hope your Father’s Day was filled with tight lines, big laughs, and time spent with the people who matter most.
