Strong Island Derby Revolution (Official Fan Page) Founded in the spring of 2011, Strong Island Derby Revolution (SIDR) is an all women’s flat-track roller derby league based in Suffolk County, NY!

Established in the spring of 2011, Strong Island Derby Revolution (SIDR) is an all-women's flat-track roller derby league based in Suffolk County and was founded to provide opportunities for women from Long Island and surrounding areas to participate in the exciting and challenging sport of roller derby. SIDR is a 501c3 and is managed and operated entirely by the skaters and other volunteers worki

ng together for the benefit of the league and our community. The Revolution is dedicated to fostering a positive and autonomous athletic environment that promotes healthy competition, teamwork, and the love of roller derby.

🎟️Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.🎟️

We will have some fun activities for the kids at halftime. 💃They will have a great time trying to hit the bullseye in our wheel toss and will love participating in a race where they will get to push an SIDR skater around the track! 🏆

There will be local vendors and a concession with food and drinks. 🍟🍿🥨🥤

Doors open at 6:45pm...first whistle at 7:30pm.

Please remember to bring a chair to sit rink side and get up-close and personal to the action! ❤️🖤❤️🖤

We had an amazing time at our recruitment bootcamp today 💥

Our recruits worked on essential skating skills like derby stance, gliding, stopping, and learning how to fall safely – then put it into action with a relay race!

They also got to watch a scrimmage at the end as our veteran skaters prep for our June bout 👀

This was such a great group – We love seeing new faces interested in this sport. Shoutout to a returning previous cadet ready to get back on skates, plus one of our officials, Pak-man, came back to rolling again after an injury 🙌

Strong Island has been doing some spring cleaning! All of our members collected clothes, housewares, books and more for our in collaboration with ! We were able to donate 4,835 lbs! That is about 2.5 tons or the size of one rhino!
