Scores have been posted for our March 28, 2026 match!

We appreciate all the competitors that came to shoot our first match of the year! Match staff was made aware and visually witnessed several competitors from various squads that misinterpreted the stage briefing. Unfortunately, we had to make a tough call today, but Stage 3 had to be thrown out due to the violation of Rule 8.2.3. As much as nobody likes losing a stage, consistency and fairness come first. We appreciate everyone’s understanding, see you at the next match!

USPSA Competition Rule 8.2.3:
A course of fire must never require or allow a competitor to touch or hold a
handgun, loading device or ammunition after the “Standby” command and
before the “Start Signal” (except for unavoidable touching with the lower
arms).

Salisbury Gun Club is hosting a USPSA RO class in October. Here is a link for anyone who might be interested in becoming an official USPSA RO.

Age restrictions — Level One Seminars Juniors under the age of 13 may audit the seminar at no cost, space permitting, but cannot gain certification. Juniors between 13 and 18 may attend and become certified, provided:

ESPS has been offered one unclaimed slot for the 2026 Race Gun Nationals (to be held at Cardinal Shooting Center, Marengo, OH on Aug. 21–23). If anyone is interested, please PM us. Preference will be given for DSA members who regularly shoot our monthly USPSA match. Please include your name and email address.

The range received a significant amount of snow this past weekend. I went down to the range today to check out the conditions, and all the bays are an icy, snowy, mess, so I am going to have to cancel the USPSA match scheduled for this Saturday, February 28. Hopefully the range conditions will be better for next month's scheduled match.

Due to inclement weather moving into the area today, we are canceling the Steel Challenge match scheduled for today.

The safety of our shooters, staff, and volunteers is our top priority, and current conditions do not allow us to safely proceed.

To whoever left the absolutely disgusting mess in the Men’s bathroom, please don’t come back to our club. Kenny spent over an hour cleaning it up - we’ve never seen anything so nasty.

Our USPSA match on October 25 has a substantial waitlist, so if for some reason you have been approved but can't make it, please remember to withdraw to give another shooter on the waitlilst an opportunity to shoot the match.

A huge thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and shooters who made the Maryland State Steel Challenge Championship such a successful and memorable event!

Your dedication, sportsmanship, and hard work are what made this match run smoothly from start to finish. From early setup to the last shot fired, it was a team effort all the way—and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

Whether you were running timers, painting steel, flipping bugers, or stepping up to the line and giving it your all—you were part of what made this event special.

We’re proud of the incredible turnout and the great energy throughout the weekend. Thank you for making this championship one to remember!
