I had just spent an hour in the bank with my father, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist asking:

"Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?"

"Why would I do that?" he replied.

"Because then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like that transfer.

You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!"

I was so excited about introducing him to the exciting world of online banking.

He thought for a minute, then answered "If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?"

"Yes, yes" I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered to your front door now, and how Amazon delivers everything!

His answer left me speechless.

He replied "Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends. And I have chatted for a while with the staff who know me very well by now.

You know that I am alone. This is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have more than enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave.

Two years ago I got sick, The shop owner, where I buy my fruit, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried.

When your mum fell down few days ago during her morning walk, our local grocer saw her and immediately brought his car to rush her home, as he knows where I live.

Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online?

Why would I want everything delivered to me, forcing me to only interact with my computer?

I like to know the person I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds and relationships and keeps me active ,

Does Amazon deliver all this as well?"

Technology isn't life and if we let it life as it is now will be gone , stop saying you have no time to shop local because local to some is all thay have , so Spend time with people. Not with devices and online , a sunny day and a walk out is sometimes all the medicine you need ❤️

💥💥 Race Event- May 21st - Keep the Date!! 💥💥

As everyone knows, the news of the unfortunate ending of the SXS Sports series was sure sad to hear.

At Dirt City, we still want a spring UTV race to take place. With that said, keep your calendars marked for May 21, 2022!

We will release event details as soon as they are available. Racers, please watch for a private Dirt City group to join for all race info.

We are excited to bring racers & fans all the awesome UTV racing action you come to expect at Dirt City Motorplex!

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you of the decision made by SXS Sports to dissolve the King of the Elements Series as of Wednesday, March 9th, 2022. As much as we love the sport and have a huge passion for the series and the participants, it has become difficult to manage. It’s became a struggle to put on these races with the current budget, volunteer staff, and everything it takes to hold these events.
We came into this in 2018 with a vision of a 3 race series that would pay the racer a substantial purse, with cool race events that would be fun for the drivers and exciting for the spectators. We collaborated this vision with adding in all the elements to make it a one of a kind UTV race series. Since this time we have added to our live stream program to make the show the ultimate best it could be. When the opportunity came to put the races on MAVTV we thought it would be a great marketing tool for the series and for the racers, and with the help of our great partners we were able to make it happen!
However, the reality is that we no longer have the budget, staff, or time needed to maintain the series at the current level, and we at SXS Sports are not the team to do any less than what we started! The economy, and rising inflation is a factor in this decision, along with the growing CHAMP OFF ROAD Series who expect to add races in 2023 and beyond. This will make it extremely difficult to find available dates for future events, and even the quantity of racers needed that can compete in that many events in a condensed period of time. We started this for the love of the sport and a goal of making awareness of UTV racing. We too are disappointed it has to end, but we do not see this as a fail, we see this as a win. SXS Sports along with our drivers played an integral part of advancing UTV's into a sport other than trail riding. We showed the sport is exciting for race drivers and spectators, and that these machines are something that can be used in any element 365 days a year! We will continue to support UTV racing in our own business and hope to still see all of you at the race track!!
SXS Sports would like to thank all of our partners, staff, racers, and fans for supporting us the last 5 years. Thank you for believing in our series and helping support the world of UTV racing.
