Looking at possibly re-opening the doors. That being said, we would be operating under new management, every class will be restructure. We would be more exclusive.

That being said i will be looking at bringing in different instructors, to give you the absolute best experience possible.

Last class at the Academy!

Congratulations go out to Grant and Jacob! I've enjoyed being a part of your guys and everyone's training. To everyone going out and finding other places to train: take what works for you, leave what doesn't. There are tons of places to train and you can learn something from anyone. That said, take the techniques, leave the other s**t off the mats. If a place doesn't feel right, move on and dont look back. Its your time and money, use it wisely. Last but not least, at the risk of beating a dead horse....

Basics. Always the basics. Do your fancy s**t, but always train your basics.

Did I mention your basics? Because thats the difference between good jiu jitsu and bad jiu jitsu.

With the announcement that we will be closing some of our coaches have decided to walk away now. With that being said today will be the last class ever Suppression Academy! Again I thank you all for being so supportive over the last two years

One month and a week from tomorrow will be Jacob Shoesmith last day at suppression academy, as he will be moving away to pursue other opportunities in life.

In his time with us Jacob has been a valued member, where he showed up when he didn’t have to. He helped us get our mats down and our cover in place at both locations. He came to support anyone who fought every chance he could. He will truly be missed and we are so happy to have had him as a part of what we have built! Best of luck in your future endevours! There will always be a place for you here!
