It's that time of year once again. Please remember to be kind to your Euro guy and properly care for your trophies.
1. Fresh harvests are the best. = They skin and clean a LOT easier and you'll have a better end result. So, please get them to me ASAP.
2. DO NOT wrap them in a black garbage bag and let them bounce around in the back of the pickup or sit in the corner of the garage until your wife complains that it stinks. This will accelerate decomposition. 🤮 ... I Have a nose too and don't want to skin and clean a rotting deer, antelope or elk head.
3. If you can't get it to your taxidermist right away, skin it and remove the lower jaw if you can and/or freeze it if possible.
4. Don't ask or bring me a dead head from last year or an EHD deer you found. I won't clean them along with anything rotten or maggoty.
5. Be ethical and hunt safe and respect your trophies. Have a great season!
