CrossFit Armati

CrossFit Armati "Armati" is a Latin word meaning "equipped, armed, reinforced."

That’s exactly what we’re doing at the Armati Collective — equipping members like you to be ready to take on any tasks that life throws at you.

Most women's fitness programs were never designed to work long term.

Cardio-heavy. Low resistance. Weight loss as the only goal. And when hormones shift and the results stop coming... the assumption is that you're not trying hard enough.
That assumption is wrong.

Strength training belongs at the center of women's fitness. Not as an add-on. Not as an option. As the foundation. We broke down exactly why... and what it actually does for bone density, hormonal health, body composition, and the ability to live on your own terms well into later life.

We also have 2 spots open in our Women's Strength Group. Small group. Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Doctor-led. Built for women who are ready to train the right way.

Most people who think CrossFit isn't for them have never actually tried it.

They've seen the Games highlights. They've heard "it's too intense." They've told themselves they need to get in shape first before they walk through the door.

Here's the truth. CrossFit is scaled to you... not the other way around. Every workout is adjusted to meet you where you are. Your fitness level. Your limitations. Your history. There is a version of every workout that is right for you today.

We broke down exactly how that works and what your first class actually looks like.

Bring-A-Friend Week starts Monday, June 15.

One full week of free classes at CrossFit Armati. Open to anyone in Door County who's been curious, considering, or just ready to do something different.

No experience needed. No pressure. Every workout is coached from start to finish and scaled to meet you exactly where you are, whether you've never touched a barbell or haven't worked out in years.

This is what we do here. We take people who are ready to stop talking about getting healthier and actually do something about it. If that's you, this is your week.

Class times: Mon / Wed / Fri: 5am, 7am, 9am, 4:30pm Tue / Thu: 5am, 7am, 4:30pm Saturday: 7:30am
185 E Walnut St, Sturgeon Bay

Come solo, bring someone, or just show up. We'll take care of the rest.

Most people who struggle with gym consistency are not lazy. They are busy, they care about their health, and they have tried more than once. The problem is not effort. The problem is a pattern that keeps repeating, and if you do not name it, you will keep running into it.

Coach Derek here with another post for you to chew on whether you're a current Armati member or not.

If you're resonating with that first paragraph and want to learn more about why you might be struggling with inconsistency and what to do about it, check out the rest of my article at the link in the comments or feel free to message me directly to work through your current road blocks.

One week ago, we kicked off Hero Week with the annual Memorial Day Murph.

The weather was perfect. The gym was full. We even had a special guest coaching appearance from Miriam!! We worked hard, shared a great breakfast together, and spent the week honoring six heroes who gave everything in service to our country.

At CrossFit Armati, Murph is never about the leaderboard. It’s about remembering that freedom isn’t free and taking a moment to do something hard in honor of those who sacrificed far more. Even more special is knowing that at the same time, CrossFitters and CrossFit affiliates all around the world are doing the exact same thing.

Looking back through these photos, we’re incredibly grateful for this community and the opportunity to share experiences like these together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Murph and Hero Week.

Special thanks to Mike Tittel Photography for capturing the day. You really are one of the best in the biz.

Give it up for the April 2026 Armati Committed Club!

Spring break, record winter snow storm, floods and many other excuses could have kept these folks from making it to the gym, but they got it done in April anyway.

The temps are heating up, the days are getting longer and summer will soon be here. Let’s ride this momentum into the best part of a Door County year!

Mug No. 50 is on the wall.

Ben V earned this 365 WOD Mug and we are so excited to celebrate.

Ben is busy running his own company, a father of 4, coaching kids sports and an all around great guy.

You’ll find Ben nearly every morning at our 5am class. He’s the first one to wish everyone a good morning and ask you how you’re doing.

We are grateful for your energy, hard work and always lifting up others, especially before the sun comes up.

Congrats Ben!

Special shoutout to all the 5am’ers that sign Ben into class so he could actually earn this mug.

Mug No. 49 was officially earned by Coach Anne!

These handmade mugs are earned by members who complete their 365th workout with us at CrossFit Armati. A tradition dating back to December of 2018.

There is a lot of work, ups, downs and memories behind each of these mugs. For Anne, that has held true.

We are happy to celebrate this accomplishment with you, Anne and look forward to many, many more!!!

We have 1000 reasons to celebrate!

Susan has officially completed 1,000 workouts at CrossFit Armati.

She has been showing up since August 15, 2019… and that consistency has added up in a massive way.

One thousand workouts is not luck.
It is not motivation.
It is commitment.
It is prioritization.
It is choosing to show up again and again when it would have been easier not to.

Only thirteen other members in our history have reached this milestone.

Sue is now one of them.

We are incredibly proud of her. Not just for the number… but for what that number represents. Years of effort. Years of growth. Years of holding the standard.

If you see her in the gym this week, give her a high five.

Huge accomplishment. Huge respect.

Hold the Standard.

We are excited to introduce our first ever CrossFit Armati Ambassadors.

This program is built around a simple belief…
We rise by lifting others.

These ambassadors were selected intentionally. Not because they are the loudest or the strongest… but because of how they show up. They lead by example. They welcome others in. They notice when someone is new, uncertain, or having a hard day. They make this place better simply by being themselves.

Our 2026 Ambassadors are:
Gina G
Kathleen H
Brianna T
Pam G
Matt H
Jacob S
Sean G

Starting something new can feel intimidating. Our ambassadors help bridge that gap. They help new members feel seen, supported, and welcomed. They strengthen our culture and elevate the experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

You will see these ambassadors helping welcome new members, answering questions, celebrating wins, and supporting this community behind the scenes.

If you see them in class, say hello. Train next to them. Get to know them.

Because when one person feels more connected, the whole community grows stronger.

We rise by lifting others.
