We had a great day in the rain on Saturday scouting for perch! Sometimes a small move can make all the difference…we started the day catching small fish and left the group of boats we were in to explore. Just a few yards away we found multiple teeners - 2 over 14, 2 over 13, and many 10-12s. Kept a few for the table and let a bunch go. One of the 14s is headed for the wall. Captain Mike also landed a nice pike!

We have openings for perch in September through October- call for availability and pricing. The bite will only get better from here. Water temps were still in the low 70s but will hopefully start falling soon.

We are SO excited to be back out fishing again after a long winter! This weekend Great Lakes Finesse baits were definitely the winning baits! Smallmouth, walleye, pike, and even a huge sheepshead all ate the Drop Minnow on a Cindy rig. The Dropkick minnow slow-rolled along the bottom also did some damage! No GIANTS this round, but can’t be mad with a few 5+ smallmouth and a very nice 7.5 pound walleye!

We are in full trophy perch search mode! These perch are just built different! The season is winding down! We managed to get out on Saturday and what a day we had! We boated around 55 fish and lost about a dozen more. Two right around that 5 pound mark, with lots of 3's and 4's!

Water temps were still high but with the north blow on Sunday and cooler temps that will change fast! They will be putting on the fall fed bag soon!

We had a fabulous day with two fab ladies yesterday! Nancy and Laurie came up to chase Sturgeon Bay bronze backs with us. These gals put in the work and hooked up with some solid fish. The weather was beautiful, fish were caught, and many, many laughs were had. We can't wait to fish with you again!
