We are excited to share some wonderful news! Studio City Recreation Center will be undergoing construction to create a modern, 12,000-square-foot facility. This new structure will feature a full-size basketball court, multipurpose rooms, an office, a kitchen, restrooms, and support facilities. This new recreation center will enrich the lives of individuals and families for generations to come.
Unfortunately, this means all programming at the center will be suspended until the project is complete. The renovations are scheduled to begin in late August 2024 and are expected to take approximately twenty-four months or so. We understand the impact this may have, so we are leaving some of our amenities open for use, including the children’s playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, and additional open space.
During the renovation, we ask for your help in protecting the safety and integrity of our park. Please report any emergency problems to the Security Services Division at (213) 978-4670, or LAPD.
We look forward to the new building and hope to se you at the opening.
