🎣 I had the pleasure of teaming up with Rod Woten of ColdWater Guide Service to host a larger group of clients who made the 6-hour trek from Missouri to join us for a day of fishing.

These guys were an awesome crew, and we had an absolute blast showing them the ropes of ice fishing. They hooked into some chunky bluegills and some feisty crappie—The boys had a great time! 🐟❄️

Big thanks to Rod for the partnership and to the boys for bringing the energy and making it a great day! Can't wait for the next adventure! 🙌

First fish of the day was a dandy! A beautiful 15” brown! Conditions are perfect right now for euro-nymphing, although I thought I’d never get this horse out of the current on 5X tippet!!! Caught a glimpse of it in deeper water and thought I’d hooked a carp?!?! I was pleasantly surprised once I got it shallow enough to realize it was a nice brown!!!
