We say it every season and this year is no different: staff training isn’t just important, it’s essential. And our team is already putting in the work! 🤸‍♂️📝

During staff training we’re building the foundation for an incredible summer. From our coaches learning and developing their teaching skills in the gyms to our support staff getting stuck into hands-on training, every day brings new opportunities to learn and strive for excellence.

Later today, we’ll be heading back to EWR to welcome our 2026 General Counselors, Lifeguards, Day Camp Counselors and Dance Teachers! And just like that, our 2026 IGC family will grow once again. Camp days are happy days! ✈️🌻

And just like that, our 2026 IGC family grows once again! What an exciting Saturday we had! ✈️🌏

A few of our lovely returners ventured to EWR to welcome our June 6th staff arrivals. We welcomed Gymnastics Coaches, Counselors, High Ropes Instructors and Support Staff from around the world!

This also means staff training is officially underway! This is such an integral part of the season as it helps everyone get aligned on expectations, build confidence in their roles, strengthen team culture, and ensure we are all working safely, consistently, and effectively from day one so our campers can have an amazing, safe and truly camp magic experience. Here we go!

Ladies and gentlemen, campers and counselors, we have a very exciting announcement! Check out these photos, you’ll see we have a few new members of our IGC family! ❤️🫏

Both and have welcomed mini donkeys to our camp family and we couldn’t be more excited. Since 1971, camp has been home to so many beloved animals, including goats, alpacas, horses, peacocks, bunnies, and more!

We can’t wait for our campers and staff to meet these adorable new additions and help welcome them to the family.

A lot was accomplished today and this pre-camp team is absolutely crushing it. Summer no. 55 is getting closer by the day! It’s such an exciting time of year!
