🟡 HEAT: 5th ➡️ 6th

// Starting on the inside for the heat had Abel a bit blocked in and running not the best line. He fell back to 8th and then moved up to 6th to finish. There were changes that would need to be made for the feature but unfortunately we weren't able to retrieve some of our data (fueling info etc) leaving the team to make changes the best they could by Abel's feel of the car during the heat.

🟢 FEATURE: 10th ➡️ 3rd 🥉

// With only one caution in the 25 laps, Abel worked hard to move up through the field. What a fantastic race to watch as he strategically raced his way to a podium finish!!! So proud of Abel and his smart and smooth racing!

9 Years ago today, Abel got his first dirt track win! In 2017 Abel was 9 years old and this was his first year racing quarter midgets. What a fun flash to the past and remembering the "Silver Bullet" race car days!

🟡 HEAT: 5th ➡️ 3rd

// A little rough heat with unfortunate contact made by our front end to a car spinning out in front of us. With no time or place to avoid the car directly in front of us. We feel for the other driver and the damage to their motor. Often times in racing circumstances are completely out of your control and this was one of those unfortunate situations.

🟢 FEATURE: 8th ➡️ 6th

// Once again the feature was uncharacteristically run at the bottom of the track. It made for not quite as an excitng race as it could have been. Made up a few spots but would love to be beating down the wall for some more fast and thrilling racing! Hoping next week's track is a bit more diverse and less one lane racing 👍.

// Unfortunately Abel got collected in not 1 but 3 wrecks that happened in front of him. So two times he went to the back of the pack and was working on making it up through to have no where to go when pile ups happened in front of him. By his 3rd collection the #34 wasn't feeling as GOOD as GOLD with a busted up front end. That ended the race day.

Well he was spot on!!! Team Abel Engler #34 Racing GOOD as GOLD 🟡 got a 2nd place podium finish 🥈✌️!!! Now he needs to get that 1st place feeling moving on 👍!

// Abel was strategizing gearing that he felt would be best for running a bottom line which is where the track was fastest. After several restarts Abel held his 2nd place position with a strong finish parking the #34 on the front stretch!
Congratulations to Kayden Barker Motorsport on his first 1st place in the US 🏁. A well deserved win!
