You'll find it at A Leg Up Ballet Academy!

Join us for our Open House on Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM! Tour the studio, meet our faculty, ask questions, and explore classes for every age and experience level—from a child's first ballet class to adult ballet and pre-professional training.

Every family who attends and registers will be entered into our Open House Raffle for a chance to win some amazing prizes—including exclusive ALUBA merchandise, dance essentials, special experiences, local gift cards, and more! Winners will be announced during the first week of classes.

From long days at the barre to new friendships, stronger technique, and countless moments of determination, our dancers made this Summer Intensive one to remember. We are so proud of everything they accomplished and grateful for every dancer who spent their summer with us!

Today was a big day for our newest pointe students!🩰

They learned how to sew their very first pair of pointe shoes—an important milestone in every dancer’s ballet journey. This moment represents years of hard work, dedication, and preparation, and we couldn’t be prouder of each of them.

A huge thank you to our guest teacher, Ally Rovito, for leading an incredible Modern class on Monday!

Our dancers had the opportunity to train in Modern with guest teacher Ally Rovito, exploring a whole new way to move and express themselves. Stepping outside the structure of classical ballet challenged them to think differently, move with freedom, and push beyond their comfort zones.

A huge thank you to Ally for sharing your knowledge, energy, and passion with our dancers. We are so grateful you spent the afternoon with us and inspired our students to grow as versatile artists. We loved having you and can’t wait to welcome you back!

Our dancers loved challenging themselves during Mat Pilates with Lola! From powerful exercises to lots of laughs, it was the perfect way to build strength while having fun together.
