A portion of all sales from participating Dairy Queen and Subway purchases will be donated back to our league, helping support our players, fields, equipment, and programs.

⚾Streamwood Little League Alumni Spotlight⚾

Success stories like this remind us why youth baseball matters.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Streamwood Little League alumnus Nicholas Weaver, who was recently named to the Mid-American Conference All-Defensive Team! 🏆

Nicholas played on multiple District 13 teams during his time at Streamwood Little League, and his dedication, hard work, and love for the game have continued to shine at every level.

What makes this story even more special is that many of our players see Nicholas every day without even realizing it. He is the silhouette painted on the Stark Field dugout, created years ago by his family. Today, that image continues to be used to recognize outstanding performances by our players—a lasting reminder of what can be achieved through hard work, determination, and passion for the game.

We hope Nicholas’ journey inspires the next generation of Streamwood Little League players to dream big, work hard, and never stop believing in themselves.

Congratulations, Nick! Your Streamwood Little League family is proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished. 👏⚾

This past weekend’s Illinois District 13 Streamwood Little League Midseason AA Tournament was a tremendous success, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the players, coaches, families, and volunteers who made it such a memorable event.

This week, we celebrate the incredible impact that Little League has had on generations of young athletes, families, coaches, and communities around the world.

Did you know?

⚾ In 1959, President Dwight D. Eisenhower officially proclaimed National Little League Week in recognition of Little League’s contributions to youth development, fitness, teamwork, and character building.

⚾ What began as a small three-team league in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in 1939 has grown into a worldwide organization serving players in more than 80 countries.

⚾ National Little League Week is about more than baseball and softball. It’s a celebration of the volunteers, coaches, parents, league officials, sponsors, and community members who dedicate their time to creating lifelong memories for our players.

At Streamwood Little League, we’re proud to continue that tradition by teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, perseverance, and a love for the game. Every practice, every game, every volunteer hour, and every cheer from the stands helps shape the next generation both on and off the field.

Think your player has what it takes to represent Streamwood Little League this summer? We encourage ALL interested players to come out and try out for our All-Star teams!

We are currently looking for players in the following age groups:
🔹 8/9/10
🔹 9/10/11

📅 Tryout Date: Sunday, May 31st
⏰ Time: 11:30 AM
📍 Location: Dolphin Park – Stark Field

🏆 Tournament dates are scheduled for July 6th–10th, with District Finals taking place July 11th–12th.

Please help spread the word and encourage players to attend. We want to make sure every interested player has the opportunity to try out and be considered!
