The Stratton Recreation Club Mud Bog started at noon Saturday with 40 entries in four classes of races. This year’s Mud Bog was in memory of Dan Boon with the Boon family and friends donating trophies and an addition to the winnings. Dan’s “Boon Buggy” ran in several races with family members as the driver. A special moment of remembering Dan and a release of 51 purple balloons commemorated his life. A large crowd enjoyed an afternoon of mud spewing, fast paced and exciting entertainment. A great big THANK YOU to the many Staff volunteers who kept everything running smoothly, as well as the generosity of local businesses and individuals who gave a donation to the Recreation Club. Your support makes it possible to celebrate the Stratton Fall Festival in a big way and we appreciate it.
