Great work by Kevin today locating and removing this massive dryer vent clog. Airflow was extremely low before the cleaning and increased dramatically once the blockage was cleared.

Low airflow reduces your dryer’s ability to dry clothes efficiently, leads to longer drying times, and significantly increases the risk of a dryer fire.

If it’s been over a year since your last dryer vent cleaning, it’s time to get it checked.

First time seeing a flexible drain pipe used as a transition hose on a dryer vent. Plastic should not be used as part of a dryer vent 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This was replaced with the proper material hose to ensure safe use and efficiency of the dryer

🔥This dryer vent was a fire waiting to happen. 🔥

The outside bird guard was completely packed with lint. Zero airflow. The vent line was filled end to end. The homeowner even said she would sometimes smell burning.

The vent was cleared, the transition hose was replaced, and we installed a new vent cover with a built-in bird guard.

Most homeowners don’t realize dirty dryer vents are one of the leading causes of house fires.🔥
