You never know what you’ll find in a dryer vent.

This handyman “repair” was a Maxwell House coffee can wrapped in foil and held together with hose clamps.

We replaced it with the proper vent materials to restore safe airflow and help reduce the risk of overheating and dryer fires.

Sometimes the biggest problems are the ones hidden behind the dryer.

Great work by Kevin today locating and removing this massive dryer vent clog. Airflow was extremely low before the cleaning and increased dramatically once the blockage was cleared.

Low airflow reduces your dryer’s ability to dry clothes efficiently, leads to longer drying times, and significantly increases the risk of a dryer fire.

If it’s been over a year since your last dryer vent cleaning, it’s time to get it checked.
