The problems are still there when you get back. That is not the point.

For one hour they are outside the door with your keys and your phone, and you are somewhere else entirely, thinking about whether that ache in your left calf is anything and what mile you are on.

The email does not get answered. The conversation does not get had. The decision does not get made. But somehow all three are smaller at the end of the run than they were at the start, and nobody has ever properly explained why.

On Spetember 1st , the next phase of the Centurion Daze Invitations will begin, so those 100 milers + who have received one, please respond or the Invintation must be removed on September 1st. Those Participants who have participated in ANY of the roosevelforestultra races 3 or more times (check USU); may email me, Lou RD, for 2027 Centurion Daze Invitation to get your
1st rooseveltforestultra buckle: it will be the Blue One unless you go farther to recieve a 125, 150, 175 or 200 mile buckle (buckle corresponds with the farthest miles achieved.
