As the sun sets on this incredible softball season, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the phenomenal players, coaches and dedicated parents who made it possible. We literally shed blood, sweat and tears this summer as we cheered, laughed and cried together.
We made it to our Bracket Final today against 23U competition at the Lancaster 18&Over Invitational but fell just short in the end. But that’s no reason to hang our heads. We finished 19-5-2 and won two tournament championships playing A level competition.
To our outstanding players, you've shown tremendous skill, perseverance, and team spirit throughout the season. Your passion and commitment on the field were truly inspiring. To those playing in college, the best is yet to come for you guys. To those who may have played their last competitive softball game today, when one door closes, another one always opens. Good luck to you all as you begin your college journeys.
We also extend a special thank you to the supportive parents and coaches who have been there every step of the way. We appreciate the sacrifices you've made to ensure the girls could play the sport they love and take part in this incredible journey.
Together, we've created memories and forged lifelong friendships that will continue beyond the softball field. Each victory and every setback has taught us valuable lessons, fostering personal growth and resilience.
This season was the conclusion of PA Krunch 18U Blue Elite. It was an amazing six year run that produced over 20 college softball players and numerous tournament championships. Special thanks to past and current coaches Naul Walter, Paul DeAngelo, Jared Mellinger, Andy Klose, Jason Saposnek, Ryan Fisher, Cole Stull and Ron Clever who have all contributed their time and dedication to the Krunch Blue Elite girls.
Signing off. Coach Chad Decker
