KMA Homerun Derby Update:
Here is the time schedule for Friday evening’s HR derby. This will take place on the upper field at Jaycee Park. We know some wanted to participate but are unsure about arrival time. We plan to open it up to any walk-ups at 8:30. It will be first come first served, while time allows. At roughly 9:00 we’ll plan to start the head-to-head finals. The top 8 will qualify for the finals and be seeding accordingly. It will be head-to-head, single elimination, until we crown a champ.
Couple reminders:
-Please bring your own pitcher. A catcher is also recommended to keep your round moving and save your time.
-Please be there 15 minutes prior to your hitting time. If we can get ahead of schedule, we’d like to.
-We will be starting at 6:30 to give ourselves a little extra time. Thank you to the guys from Downtown ConneXion for being willing to start early.
-Preliminary round is 15 swings in no more than 3 minutes. If you finish tied in HRs with another contestant it will be whoever had more time left in their round to determine the tiebreaker.
-All finals matchups are 6 swings in 75 seconds, with a back and forth swing off taking place in the event of a tie.
