First off, I want to send out a huge thanks to all the coaches and volunteer boat captains in all the Illinois high school state sectionals today. Teaching our youth about the sport we all love so much will help ensure and grow the future of tournament bass fishing.
I have the pleasure to coach the new Windsor Stew-Stras bass fishing team and I am pleased to announce that they finished 3rd out of 25 boats and are now State Bound.
Congrats to the sectionals winners, Casey-Westfield. Also, congrats 2nd place finishers, Heritage, coached by my good buddy James Williams.

Last night I had another opportunity to talk about bass fishing to a local high school bass fishing team. It was an honor to share some knowledge about the sport I love so much. I encourage all of you to get involved and help out with a local high school bass fishing team.

I am really digging this new color. Since its a jig, we wanted to go just a little bit more natural for a "fire craw" color and I think we nailed it. Spring is definitely my favorite time to throw red/orange and I think I am gonna be throwing this a lot very soon. Reminder, promotional price on jigs ($2.50 each) ends at the end of the month.
