Members of our sales and service teams from all 3️⃣ stores gathered for training today with our partners at Cummings & Bricker in Carlisle, PA.

They heard from experts on the Teagle lineup of bale processors - the ultimate tool for feeding, bedding, landscaping and more - available now at all locations. The guys got up-close with models like the Tomahawk 8500, designed to process all straw or silage bale types, plus clamp silage, fast and efficiently. 🐄

The school year may wrap up soon for students across the region, but the learning never stops for the team at the University of Maryland’s Clarksville Facility.

They were in the fields with their New Holland FR 550 Forage Cruiser when we visited a few weeks ago, chopping triticale used to feed the University’s dairy cattle research herd.

At 925 acres, the Howard County location is the largest in the Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station network, where they investigate forage production and forage related insect pest management, alfalfa and corn variety trials, small grains and soybean varietal improvement, dairy cattle nutrition and more.

Our team was happy to hop on board as a sponsor of the recent Agriculture Career Day, hosted by our friends and customers at Pennwood Farms in Berlin, PA. 🚜

The annual event organized by the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce welcomed more than 4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ 8th-grade students from across the county for a full day of hands-on learning and career exploration. From farming and veterinary science to drones and finance, students explored a wide variety of agricultural career paths available in the region.

🌾 Congratulations to the Chamber, volunteers, industry presenters and educators on a successful AG day! We’re grateful to have partners in the community that recognize the importance of agriculture and are dedicated to the continued development of the workforce needed to support the industry.
