What you see are the highlights.
You can see all the reps that Suzy can do, in the gym, or, of all places, at a winery.
What you didn’t see was her first two years here with a compromised shoulder.
When the furthest thing from our minds, was reps and reps of pull-ups and chin-ups.
It took time, a lot of supplemental work in the gym and consistent work with a therapeutic masseuse to get her shoulder in a place where it could tolerate the stress of pull-ups and chin-ups.
So, now, not only is Suzy confidently able to do these exercises, she can do them at bodyweight and with an extra 10 lbs on a belt.
Not bad for one badass grandma.
